Never lose a job to a slow reply or a missed call.
I offer two services for electricians. One replies to your website enquiries within a minute and chases your quotes. The other answers the calls you miss and texts you the details. Take one, or take both.
Example conversation. Your messages are written in your own words.
Pick the one you need, or take both.
They work on their own or together. Each has a free first month and a founding price locked for 12 months.
Enquiry replies and quote follow-up
Someone fills in your website form and gets a friendly reply within a minute, with a price range from your own prices and the questions you need to quote. You get an instant alert. If a quote goes quiet it chases on day 2 and day 5, and after the job it asks for a Google review.
£150 setup, then £69 a month
See how it worksCall answering
If you cannot get to the phone, an automated assistant picks up. It says it is automated, takes the caller's name, postcode and what they need, reads the postcode back, and texts you a summary. It only answers when you do not, and it never gives a quote.
£75 setup, then £49 a month (150 minutes included)
See how it worksBoth together: £175 setup, then £89 a month
Every web enquiry and every missed call answered and written up in one place. Saves £50 on setup and £29 a month against buying them separately.
You are on a ladder. The enquiry is in your pocket.
Most customers message more than one electrician. The first firm to reply with a clear, friendly answer usually gets the conversation. When you are on site, that is rarely you.
Enquiries wait for the evening
The message lands at 2pm and gets answered at 8pm. By then the customer has spoken to someone else.
Quotes go quiet
You send a quote, the customer gets busy, and nobody chases it. Many of those were never a "no".
Admin eats your evenings
Typing the same questions again and again takes time you would rather spend with your family or asleep.
Put in your own numbers.
No made-up statistics here. Move the sliders to match your business and see what faster replies, quote follow-up and answered calls could be worth to you.
It asks what you would ask.
Different jobs need different questions. Pick a job to see the kind of first reply Nudgewell sends. Every message is set up in your words, for your services and your area.
Example only.
A polite nudge, not a hard sell.
After you send a quote, Nudgewell checks in on a schedule you choose. It stops the moment the customer replies. Tap each step to see an example.
Turn finished jobs into Google reviews.
When you finish a job, the customer gets a short, friendly message with a link to leave a Google review. People choosing an electrician read reviews first, and fresh ones show your business is busy and trusted. More reviews means more people pick up the phone to you.
- Sent shortly after the job, while the work is fresh
- Asked of every customer, never just the happy ones, which keeps you inside Google's rules
- A one-tap link, so it takes the customer seconds
Example message and review layout.
Can't pick up? It answers, takes the details and texts you.
Your phone rings first, as normal. If you are up a ladder or on another call, it diverts to Nudgewell. The assistant says it is automated, gets the caller's name, postcode and what they need, reads the postcode back and confirms the callback number, and sends you a summary.
- Asks for everything in one go, not one question at a time
- Reads the postcode back and confirms the callback number, so mishearings get caught
- Only gives the price ranges you have approved, never a quote
- Burning smell, sparks or a shock? It gives a safety message and alerts you straight away
- Works with the enquiry replies, so every missed call and every web enquiry end up in one place
Example call. Your assistant is set up with your business name, areas and price ranges.
You cannot answer on site
Hands in a consumer unit, up a ladder or driving. The phone rings and you cannot pick up.
Callers move on
Someone who gets no answer will often just ring the next electrician on the list.
You get the details, not a voicemail
A text with their name, postcode, the job and a callback number, so you can ring back knowing what they want.
We set it up. You carry on working.
- STEP 1
A short chat
We talk through your services, areas, prices and how you like to sound. You choose enquiry replies, call answering, or both.
- STEP 2
We write it for you
Your replies, follow-ups and call script, in your words and with your price ranges. You approve everything before it goes live.
- STEP 3
We switch it on
New website enquiries get answered straight away, and missed calls go to the assistant. Nothing for you to install.
- STEP 4
We tune it
After the first weeks we adjust the wording and timing based on how customers reply.

- Every website enquiry answered within a minute
- Every missed call answered and written up

- One alert system, one person to call
One electrician per area. While you are a customer, I will not set Nudgewell up for another electrician within 5 miles of your base postcode. First come, first served, and it is written into your agreement. The founding rate is for the first electricians who join; after that standard pricing applies to new customers.
Calls are recorded and written up so you can see what was said. The assistant says so at the start of every call.
Hi, I'm Harry.
I'm based in Greater Manchester and I build Nudgewell myself. I'm working with a small group of local electricians first, so every customer gets my full attention and a say in how it works. You will not be passed to a call centre. You will be talking to me.
Things electricians ask.
Can I take just one of the services?
Yes. Enquiry replies and call answering each work on their own. If you take both together they cost less than buying them separately: £175 setup and £89 a month, instead of £225 and £118.
Do I need to change how I work?
No. You keep your phone, email and website. Nudgewell sits alongside them, answers first and chases quotes.
Will customers know it is automatic?
Messages sound like your business and ask useful questions. As soon as a customer is ready for a quote or a call, the conversation is passed to you.
What if I do not like a message?
You approve every message before it goes live and can change the wording any time. You can also pause everything with one message to me.
What happens after the free month?
You decide. Carry on at the founding rate, or stop. There is nothing to cancel in the first month.
Does it replace me?
No. It handles the first reply and the chasing. You still do the quoting, the calls and the work.
What does area exclusivity mean?
While you are a customer, I will not set Nudgewell up for another electrician whose base postcode is within 5 miles of yours. It is first come, first served, and it is written into your agreement. If you cancel, the area opens up again. Ask me to check your postcode before you sign up.
How does it connect to my website?
The first version works with the contact or enquiry form on your website: when someone submits it, they get the first reply and you get an alert. I check how your form works in the setup chat. Handling enquiries that arrive in your email inbox or on social media is possible later as an extra.
Which areas do you cover?
Anywhere in the UK. I am based in Greater Manchester, so I can talk things through by phone or video wherever you are.
How does call answering work?
You set your phone to divert calls you do not answer (or when you are busy) to a Nudgewell number. I show you how in the setup chat. Your phone still rings first. The assistant says it is automated and that the call may be recorded, takes the caller's details, and sends you a summary by text or email. It never gives a quote, only the price ranges you have approved.
What if it gets a call wrong?
Every call is written up and recorded for you to check, and I tune the wording with you in the first month. Emergencies such as burning smells or shocks get a safety message and an instant alert to you.
What about customer data?
Customer details are only used to answer and follow up that customer's enquiry for your business. Ask me for specifics before you sign up and I will answer in writing.

Tell me a little about your business. I will reply the same day.
The form writes an email to me with your details filled in. It opens in your email app and you press send. If it does not open, copy my address above and email me directly.
